3 Cups Drawing

4 Basics of Composition

- Orientation of paper

- Spacing

- Height of the bases

- Proportion

I drew the 'three cups drawing' in Drawing 1. I feel like I did very well on the height of the bases and spacing. I should have made the objects bigger so there is not as much white space on my paper.

I drew this one point perspective drawing in Drawing 1. It is an image of a view of a streetful of buildings. I was satisfied with the shading of my drawing but to make it better I could have expanded into more dark and light values. In the end, I am very happy with my finished drawing.

I drew my self-portrait in Drawing 1. I love how my lips and hair are very accurate to my own. I also thought I did a good job with my eyes. I could have pushed more into my value scale. I could have made more dark areas because this drawing looks very gray. Overall I am happy with this drawing.

I drew this image of pencils in drawing 1. I used three charcoal pencils. One white, one black, and one gray. I love how I made sure to push into different values. I am very happy with my drawing but I still could have used darker values in the bottom of the drawing. Overall, I love what I've drawn.

I drew this two-point perspective drawing in drawing 1. I used a regular graphite [encil. I love the design of my bed and the curtains I shaded. I fell like I could have used for darker values in my drawing. Overall, I like my drawing.
